This Privacy Policy describes how Azus (the "Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service as a Discord Activity.
1. Information we collect
- Discord account information. When you authenticate via Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, discriminator (if any), and avatar hash. We also receive the Discord guild (server) ID for the context in which you launched the activity.
- Gameplay data. We store data generated by your use of the Service, such as virtual currency balances, in-game items, statistics, cooldowns, notifications, and progression.
- Operational logs. Our servers may produce logs (for example, errors and request metadata) used for debugging and reliability.
2. How we use information
- To authenticate you and maintain a session.
- To provide, personalize, and improve gameplay (including persisting your progress per Discord server).
- To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect the integrity of the Service.
- To diagnose technical issues.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only:
- With service providers that help us run the Service (for example, our database host and hosting infrastructure), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- With other users of the Service, to the extent gameplay surfaces public information such as your Discord username, avatar, or leaderboard standings.
- If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
4. Data storage and security
Profile and gameplay data is stored in a managed database (Supabase). We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure.
5. Data retention
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as needed to operate the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us; certain information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such users.
7. International users
Information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. By using the Service you consent to such processing.
8. Your choices

9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
